Our first Protective Motorcycle Hoodie was one of our greatest products ever, but we knew we could make it better. Introducing the ‘Hurricane’ Hoodie from Akin Moto - the pinnacle of protective motorcycle hoodies.

Featuring a new Softshell water resistant outer layer + a water resistant YKK AquaGuard® zipper, the Hurricane Hoodie is designed to keep you dry when you get caught out in light rain. (Need a fully waterproof jacket? Check out the Alpha Jacket)

For your safety, the Hurricane hoodie is fully lined with 210gsm DuPont Kevlar® fibre and is fully compatible with CE approved Forcefield + SAS-TEC Triple Flex armour (shoulders, elbows and back - sold separately).

Say goodbye to the short and ‘boxy’ hoodies you’re used to. The Akin Hurricane Hoodie has a longer tailored fit, with a bit of extra length in the sleeves (+ wrist gaiters) to prevent them from riding up when you’re on the bike. We also removed those pesky drawcords on the hood to prevent them slapping on the side of your helmet.

We’ve also used a premium mesh liner for breathability and thrown in 2x water resistant internal pocket to stash your valuables.

WHAT SIZE SHOULD I GET?:

The best way to find out your size is to measure a jacket or hoodie you already own, and that fits the way you want while on your bike (factoring in any garments you wish to layer underneath). Lay your jacket flat on a table, and measure the chest, making sure to go from side seam to side seam (near the armpit like in the photo below). It's very important that you reach the seam join on each side, even if you have to bend a little around the sides of the jacket. Compare your measurement to the size chart above.
