Returns & Exchanges

Not stoked on your new Akin product? Picked the wrong size? No worries.

We accept exchanges within 30 days of purchase, subject to stock availability. Items must be in original, unworn condition with tags attached.

We do not offer refunds for change of mind or incorrect choice, except where required by applicable consumer law.

To arrange an exchange or return, email support@akinmoto.com with your full name, order number, the item/s you wish to return and the reason for your request.

Return postage is the responsibility of the customer. We recommend using a tracked service, as Akin Moto is not responsible for parcels lost in transit.

For international returns, customers are responsible for return postage and any duties or taxes associated with the return shipment.

 

EU Right of Withdrawal

If your order is delivered to an address in the European Union, you can cancel your purchase within 14 days of receiving the final item in your order, without needing to give a reason.

To do this, email support@akinmoto.com or submit a request through your customer account before the 14-day period ends.

You then have 14 days from notifying us to send the goods back. Return postage is your responsibility.

Once we receive the returned goods, or proof that they have been sent back, we will refund the order value and the cost of standard delivery. If you selected a premium shipping option, we will refund the cost of our standard delivery option only.

You are welcome to inspect and try on protective gear indoors. However, if an item has been ridden in, used, damaged, dirtied, exposed to sweat or moisture, or otherwise handled beyond what is needed to inspect it, we may make a reasonable deduction from the refund to reflect its actual reduced value.

Any deduction will be assessed case by case.

 

Protective Equipment

Akin Moto products are protective motorcycle equipment. You may inspect and try on an item indoors, as you would in a retail store.

Items that have been ridden in, worn outdoors, washed, dirtied, exposed to moisture, sweat or odour, damaged, or otherwise used beyond an indoor try-on may have no remaining resale value because their condition, safety history or integrity cannot reasonably be verified.

Where this occurs, we may make a reasonable deduction from the refund, up to the full product price, to reflect the item’s actual reduced value. Any deduction will be assessed case by case.
