Ride with confidence knowing that you’re covered with genuine 210gsm DuPont™ Kevlar® fabric that has been woven with COOLMAX® comfort fibres. This patented technology provides very high levels of abrasion resistance, but it also ‘breathes’ - keeping you cool and comfortable.
Need more protection? We’ve designed the Blackhawk Riding Shirt to be 100% compatible with back, shoulder and elbow armour (sold separately).
Need more airflow? The Blackhawk Riding Shirt has a hidden SmartVent™ System in the armpits and across the back – simply open up the discreet vents and you’ll keep yourself cool on those hot summer rides.
When it comes to riding gear, small details make a big difference. The collar snaps down to stop it flapping against your helmet, there’s internal pockets for your valuables, and the sleeves are slightly longer so they sit perfectly when you’re on the bike. We’ve also used ‘glove friendly’ snap buttons and zippers to make it easier for when you’re in a rush and don’t want to remove your gloves.

Lay your shirt or jacket flat on a table, and measure the chest, making sure to go from side seam to side seam (near the armpit like in the photo below - It's very important that you go ALL the way to the seam join). Compare your measurement to the table above.

Amazing shirt! Perfect for the cool mornings and hot afternoons on the Gold Coast! Keeps me warm enough in the cold and then unzip those vents to keep me cool in the heat. Super comfortable on and off the bike. Love that it doesn't look like your traditional riding gear. Currently paired with my Grenade gloves and looking to get some pants next!

I've had this for a few months now, after buying it at the start of summer in Australia and it instantly paid for itself.
My other jacket is the Alpha 3.0 from Akin, and while this is great without the insulated inner, I wanted something a little more streamlined and ideally cooler for the hotter months.
As soon as I got this, I transferred my armour over and I've worn it for every ride since.
It's the perfect balance - during the fresh mornings I keep it all zipped up and it's warm enough so that the wind chill doesn't get you but as soon as the temperature starts climbing, I just open up the ventilation zips and the air blows right through.
As with all their other products, it's very well thought out and the quality of it is second to none... not to mention how good it looks!

Love this shirt, it is exactly what I was looking for. It is light enough and I like the ventilation, exactly what is needed in the hot weather.
Sizes are on the bigger side in my opinion. I am glad I went for the small size. Reach out to the guys if you are unsure, they will provide awesome advice.
