We couldn't find a motorcycle vest we liked, so we created our own... and then we made that one even better.

NEW Protective Maxtex® 1000 D outer shell for superior abrasion resistance

NEW YKK two-way zipper - let's you adjust the lower half of the vest to stop it 'riding up' when you're on the bike
Back armour pocket (armour not included)
Triple stitched and reinforced at impact areas
Water resistant internal pocket (perfect to stash your valuables)
2 Velcro flap chest pockets + 2 hand-warmer pockets with YKK zippers
Short ribbed collar
Drop tail
Snap button 'Storm Flap' - Stops wind from coming through the zipper

Protection:

The Battle Vest now features a heavy Protective Maxtex® 1000 D outer shell - this strong polyester fabric is a heavier version (66% heavier!) of what we use for our 'Alpha Jacket'. It looks amazing and provides superior abrasion resistance over all our previous vests.

Pair this with reinforced, triple-stitched seams, and you've got one very tough vest.

Need more protection? The Battle Vest is back armour compatible! We've designed the armour pocket to fit our Zeus Pro Ce Level 2 Back Protector.

Please note: Our Battle Vest sizes currently vary in terms of which Zeus Pro CE Level 2 Back Protector they require—either Regular or Large. Most sizes are compatible with the Large protector, but some still require Regular. If you're ordering a vest and a back protector together, we’ll make sure you receive the correct size to match the vest in your order. If you’re purchasing a back protector separately, or need one for a different Akin Moto jacket, please email us first to confirm which size you need.

Comfort:

We've developed a totally new fit with an integrated 'smart stretch panel' down the side seam. The two-way YKK® zipper has made a return, allowing you to adjust the fit to prevent the vest from 'riding up' when you're on the bike.

Put simply, it's our best fitting vest ever.

There's a new quilted 170g insulated lining and fleece lined pockets to keep you comfortable on those colder days + a storm flap to prevent cold air from hitting your chest.

Your favourite features are still there too - like the water resistant internal pocket (which is perfect for keeping your valuables dry and safe) + our super comfortable ribbed collar for those long days on the bike.

Great vests, awesome customer service.

I have been looking for a quality riding vest for some time, I saw these guys vests at my local dealership and decided I had to get two, one for my registered Harley Owners Group chapter rides and another for the yearly xmas toy runs with the local Ulysees club so I can proudly display all the yearly ride patches for the xmas events of the past 7 years.

I got my sizing a little off, reached out to Grant at Akin Moto, he took care of organising the return and sent out the larger sizes really quick. Their communications is awesome and totally recommend their products for anyone looking. Service like this will keep them in front of mind when it comes to any other riding gear.

This vest is replacing the previous generation. Definitely an upgrade in materials and functionality. The split main zipper is tremendous. I wish the inside chest poocket was big enough for a phone. Otherwise, it would be five stars.

Absolutely love this vest , the fit is perfect and having the elastic sides makes it suitable to wear over pretty much anything from a shirt to hoodie or jacket. The quality is amazing aswell
