Fantastic gear and fantastic service

I’ve ordered the Blackhawk 2.0 Motorcycle Shirt and couldn’t be happier with both the product and the experience. A big thanks to Grant and the team for taking the time to answer all my questions in detail and helping me choose the right size.

I already own the ALPHA Motorcycle Jacket 2.0 and 3.0 in XL, and the Blackhawk fits perfectly in XL too with enough room to comfortably wear a sweatshirt underneath.
The fabric, fit and design are exactly what I love about Akin Moto: black, minimalistic and understated, but still seriously capable on the bike. And just like my Alpha jackets, it looks great off the bike too. These are genuinely daily wearables that are adventure-ready.

I’ve already put multiple road trips on my Alpha, including some pretty harsh rain, and it has never disappointed. I can’t wait to put the Blackhawk through its paces on my summer road trips!
One small request: please expand further into Europe so we can avoid the dreadful customs charges ! 😅

Great daily shirt!

Warm when it's cool, cool when it's warm

Got a size large and it is a great fit on me, not too baggy and not too tight that I struggle on a ride. Still able to put on an undershirt to layer up when it's colder. The ventilation works great and does give you some more maneuverability. Inner pockets have a lot of room compared to the chest pockets, perfect for a larger phone.

The versatile jacket

I usually default to XXL clothing but it is always hit and miss buying online. The Akin way of measuring is a great way to gage what size to buy. I went up a size to XXXL to allow for an extra layer underneath with the armour and I highly recommend. This is my new favourite jacket, it looks great on the bike and just as good at the bar. Great product I now want the other colour.

Great shirt, even better customer service.

The shirt is stylish, fits very well, and is very comfortable. As mentioned in the size guide, it’s a shirt that fits fairly close to the body, but I like that it’s not as bulky as motoshirts from other brands. So if you want to wear a sweatshirt or hoodie underneath, you should size up.

What’s even better about Akin Moto is the customer service. I ordered from Germany, and Grant has been an absolute legend helping me out by providing measurements and photos just to make sure I picked the right sizes for the products. Always helpful, always friendly, and always very quick to reply. 10 out of 10 — hands down the best customer service I’ve ever experienced.
