Key Features
Completely New Fit
A total rebuild. Every panel and seam has been re-engineered for improved mobility, comfort and stability in the saddle.
Maxtex® 600D Outer Shell
A tough, abrasion-resistant chassis designed to handle demanding terrain and long days on the bike.
Waterproof Humax® Lining (10,000 mm+)
A fully seam-sealed waterproof membrane that keeps the weather out and comfort in. We've also completely redesigned the way the fly works so water cant sneak through the zipper.
New Over-the-Boot Design
Engineered to fit everything from full-size MX boots to riding sneakers. We've designed a new 2-zone adjustable cuff that lets you expand or reduce the opening for the perfect fit... without the baggy bell-bottom look.
SmartVent™ Airflow System
The thigh pockets convert into large vents, delivering instant airflow when temperatures rise.
Teramid® / Kevlar® Knee Panel
A durable, fast-drying reinforcement panel that offers excellent abrasion resistance without the bulk or slow drying of leather. Perfect for riders who want to run knee braces under their pants.
Armour Compatible
Fully compatible with our Zeus Pro knee and hip armour inserts (armour not included).
Removable Thermoline® Lining
Lightweight insulation you can add or remove depending on the weather and season.
Stretch Panels for Mobility
Strategically placed stretch zones ensure freedom of movement on technical terrain.
Adjustable Waistband
Dial in a secure, personalised fit, no matter your layers.

Got these pants to do a week long adv trip. The fit is good sort of tight around the thighs and minimal maneuvering to try and kick the leg over on tall adv back. The air intake vent la work ok I think maybe some type of vent could be placed in the crouch area sort of like the vents in the armpit for the jacket and just above the butt live the back on the jacket. The tassels on the pants should’ve stuck with the cord like the jackets as 2 of the leather straps already broke and the material for them is quite thin. Over though they have kept me dry and warm. Once the bike you can move and get into position to attack the trails. The material of the pant is durable. Lucky haven’t had to test the abrasion resistance and armor and would like to keep it that way. But overall good pant. Just some fitment on the thighs and maneuverability for the initial mount, and breathability can worked on !
Hey John,
Thanks for taking the time to leave such a detailed review and for putting the Alpha 2.0 Pants through a proper adventure ride.
We really appreciate the feedback around the thigh fit, mounting comfort, ventilation, and especially the pull tabs on the pockets. Sorry to hear the tabs have broken - that’s definitely something we take seriously, and we’re already looking at ways to improve and strengthen them for future generations of the pants.
I'm stoked to hear they kept you warm, dry, and performed well out on the trails overall. Thanks again for the honest feedback, it genuinely helps us continue improving the gear.
The pants are very comfortable and the sizing was spot on. The thermal detachable liner feels great and while I have been riding without it due to the season I am sure it will prove to be useful in Melbourne winter. I think this would be a 3 season pants. Too hot for summer.
I like that it has both Velcro and a zipper for the boot fitting making it easy to fit most boots underneath. I would have liked a zipper system on the waist to attach the alpha jacket. I also would have liked to see anti-slide material around the seating area as when sitting on the bike it feels like I am slightly sliding around the seat and have to adjust more.
I have added lvl2 armour on knees and hips and it all fits well and comfortable still. Overall good price and good material. I think a CE certification would have been great and hopefully will see this in the future.
Hi Kon, thanks so much for taking the time to share this - there’s some really valuable feedback in here, and you’ve made some great points.
We also hear you on the CE certification. It’s something we take seriously, and we really appreciate you mentioning. We’re currently working towards having our gear independently tested through MotoCAP in the near future, which is a much more rigorous, real-world assessment and goes well beyond standard CE requirements.
Thanks again for the thoughtful review - ride safe.
I got these pants given to me as a birthday gift and honestly I can vouch for them as they’re really good. The only thing I found and this is most pants from other name brands too is that they don’t account for men with bigger thighs because my normal size would’ve been M but because I have bigger thighs I had to go size L but that also comes with bigger waist size, so I have to wear a belt. Other than that it’s really good. It comes with a thermals layer and you only need it if it’s really really cold like close to 3°. Oh and I wish they came with the protectors rather then having to buy them separately.
Hey Saurabh,
Thanks for taking the time to put together such a thoughtful review. We really appreciate you sharing your experience, especially the comparison to other brands you’ve used - feedback like this helps guide how we continue to refine things in future.
Thank you for mentioning your preference of having armour inserts included as well. Everyone’s riding style and comfort preference is different, and a large portion of our customers prefer to run the gear without inserts, so we’ve chosen to keep protectors as an optional extra to keep costs affordable for all customers.
To make things a little easier, we’ve bundled the required inserts for our protective pants into one listing so they can be easily added at checkout:

Thanks again for the support and for sharing your experience.
First of all, Grant The Customer Experience Lord was amazingly helpful in getting my sizing figured out, as well as helping me go back and forward between a couple of different products etc.
Secondly, the attention to detail on EVERYTHING on the Alpha 2.0 pants is absolutely fantastic. Absolutely superb value for money given how versatile these pants are - a true year-round option for ADV/touring riding.
Thanks so much for the kind words Nick! Really glad we could help get your sizing sorted and that you’re enjoying the Alpha 2.0 pants. We love hearing how the details and versatility of our gear make a difference out on the road – your feedback means a lot. Ride safe and enjoy the adventures ahead!
I've been an owner of Alpha Pants 1.0 for a while now, and whenever I wore them, everything just felt right. No unnecessary 713 pockets, no crazy colour pallets, just good, functional pair of pants. Didn't even think there was anything to upgrade. But after seeing the 2.0 version, i suddenly realised that all these new features i was missing subconsciously, and now incredibly happy to have them. No other pair of pants I would choose for an adventure on a bike.
Thanks so much for taking the time to share this Andrei. It really means a lot hearing from someone who’s put proper time into the Alpha 1.0 and still felt compelled to step into the 2.0. That balance you mentioned - clean design, no unnecessary extras, just functional gear that feels right on the bike - is very much how we approach product design, so it’s great to hear that resonated with you.
The Alpha 2.0 was all about refining what already worked and quietly adding those improvements you don’t realise you’re missing until they’re there. Knowing they’ve earned their place on your adventures is a huge compliment.
Appreciate the support and trust in the gear - enjoy the miles ahead
