The Hypermesh Elite Pants are a true hybrid design, combining the airflow and mobility of in-the-boot motocross pants with the abrasion resistance required for road riding. Built for riders who transition from sealed roads to technical off-road terrain, these pants deliver protection without restricting movement. Whether you’re riding from home to local trails or tackling long-distance adventures that mix highway miles with demanding off-road sections, the Hypermesh Elite Pants are designed to move with you every step of the way.

Stretch Schoeller® Dynatec Micro-Mesh

Made in Switzerland, this advanced stretch mesh fabric delivers exceptional airflow, high abrasion resistance and unrestricted freedom of movement.

Engineered for the Slide

In lab tests using the Schopper method (grit 280 sandpaper under a 1 kg load), the fabric withstood over 3,000 revolutions, simulating prolonged scraping against rough surfaces. For motorcycle-specific protection, it meets EN 17092 AAA-class impact abrasion standards in Zone 2 (medium-risk areas like the outer thighs and shins), capable of enduring slides equivalent to approximately 70–100 km/h, helping to reduce road rash in these regions during a crash. While this provides strong protection for touring and everyday riding, higher-risk Zone 1 areas, such as the knees and hips, rely on our 'Zeus Pro' CE Level 2 armour (sold separately) for impact absorption.

Ultimate Dual-Sport Hot Weather Design

The entire pant is engineered as a vent, maximising airflow to keep you cool during slow, technical off-road riding and hot weather road sections.

Armour & Knee Brace Compatible

Designed to accept knee and hip armour for enhanced impact protection, while remaining fully compatible with modern knee braces (armour sold separately).

In-the-Boot Fit with Adjustable Waistband

A motocross-inspired cut that fits clean inside the boot and allows maximum mobility, paired with an adjustable waistband for a secure, dialled fit. The legs are a bit longer than a standard MX pant, which allows you to run them with standard boots/sneakers if needed.

Dual Glove-Friendly Cargo Pockets

Practical, easy-access storage designed to be used with gloves on, on or off the bike.

The perfect pair

Hypermesh pants are the business, the perfect pair for when I need them. So comfortable, the right amount of adjustment, protective and cool in every sense of the word. Oh Akin Moto you have done it again. Impressive!

The PERFECT all rounders.

I've been running Akin gear for as long as I can remember and it's always been for good reason; great gear ran by great guys.
However, I was always torn for what to wear depending where I was going - my stealth jeans are great for commuting, getting around town and chill rides on the road providing full confidence with armour & abrasion resistance but they'd get HOT when I'd head into the trails or ride in the summer.
The Slipstream pants solve the heat problem for the trails with their insane airflow but the lack of abrasion resistance (being off-road pants) was a bit of a worry when hitting the tarmac to/from the trails.

I discussed this with Max and he fully understood where I was coming from but kept assuring me a solution was coming and I can confidently say these pants are the ultimate solution.
Plenty of space for knee braces when riding off-road but slim enough to still run the more comfortable knee armour for when commuting/riding on road.
Insanely breathable with loads of stretch, massive pockets for your phone/wallet/keys and like the rest of the Akin gear, they just look sick!
No overpowering branding, ugly reflective crap and just an all-round perfect fit.
AND although they're designed to be in-boot pants, they actually don't look too bad with some smaller riding boots/shoes when commuting or popping out for a coffee.

GET 'EM!

I've been running the Blackhawk pants for commuting and casual rides and the vortex off-road pants for trail riding on my dual sport bike. Both are great for their purpose but since purchasing these, it's be a total game changer and the best of both worlds. They're so light and breezey for hot days (no more sweaty legs rocking up to the next stop, especially around the Gold Coast) and I feel super protected after talking to the team explaining how they have an extremely high protection rating. My zeus knee armour fits perfectly and I can't even feel them while riding and then my knee braces also fit with no worries when I'm on the dirt. I wore them recently on an enduro day and they felt breathable and comfortable the whole time, felt like an mx pant. The pockets on the top of the thigh are a great design if you need to use them, I couldn't feel them at the bottom of my Tech 7's with shin/ankle rub and the waist tightening strap saves me having to wear a belt. Get yourself a pair, cheers legends!

Finally an Under the Boot Adventure Pant and they're actually way more comfortable than the XXL baggy, thick, heavy adventure pants I'd been running. Love them!
