More importantly, we listened to YOU. Your emails and reviews had some hidden clues on ways we could improve the design… and we’ve been paying attention.

STAY PROTECTED
We’ve stuck with the classic Protective Maxtex® 600 D outer shell for superior abrasion resistance. For added protection, we’ve designed the jacket to be 100% compatible with body armour inserts for the back, shoulders and elbows (sold separately). NEED ARMOUR? CLICK HERE.Please note: Our Alpha Jacket takes our Zeus Pro CE Level 2 Back Protector in Large, however previous batches of this jacket may require Regular. If you’re purchasing a back protector separately, or need one for a different Akin Moto jacket, please email us first to confirm which size you need.

Cold weather? We’ve improved the removable Thermoline® thermal liner, plus added built-in wrist gaiters to help block cold wind from entering your sleeves.

Warm weather? Zip-out that thermal lining and open the new SmartVentTM System (with a total of 5 zipper vents) for maximum air circulation, keeping you cooler.

With a total of 5 large pockets, you’ll have plenty of room to stash all your valuables on your next ride. We’ve added a magnetic keeper to the removable hood (to stop it flapping around), there’s a hidden key clip in the front pocket for your key/fob, reflective logos for extra visibility and premium YKK® zippers all round.

Great first try

Bought this jacket as a winter/wet option, took it out while the weather was warm but wet, with lining out and vents open, what a surprise feeling the airflow and also staying completely dry from the rain. Out did my expectations!

Use size guide

As stated in description make sure you use the size guide! Dont just assume!! Im usually a 2xl and i ordered the 3xl and its a snug fit with only a tshirt underneath. If they bring a bigger size out I will 100% order a new one and give my current one away. Awesome jacket and looks really good. Looking foward to my winter rides and not freezing my arse off! Same applies with the 2.0 pants, use the size chart. Hopefully they bring out bigger sizes! Love akin moto!!

Very impressed

I bought this jacket and it has withstood the harshest conditions I’ve seen.
It holds up very very well in the rain and is well insulated. With the liner I have not been too hot or too cold, but just right, with only a T shirt underneath. Touring the South Island of New Zealand was incredibly comfortable, 10/10 recommend
This jacket far exceeded my requirements and expectations, and I think is very well priced for the quality you are getting.

Best Looking Protective Gear Around!

Firstly, shout out to Grant, he's one of the main reasons I got this jacket and I can see he's helped a lot of people like me do the same. Every company needs a Grant lol.

Got the Alpha jacket today and couldn't be more happy. Was looking around for so long through so many local suppliers in NZ to find something that looks good and gives great protection in all weather conditions - this jacket does all that plus the price is really competitive, even with shipping to NZ. Great bang for buck, highly recommend!

Amazing Products With Incredible Service

5 years ago, I bought the original Alpha jacket...and it recently had some minor issues. I sent Grant and Max a few photos of what had occurred (with no demands or expectations and acknowledging that the jacket had been awesome for 5 years!) and received an email back that same day expressing their apologies for the issues, accompanied by an offer too good to refuse on the new version, the Alpha 4.0.
A fews days later and my new jacket has arrived, and is sensational.
I loved the old one and wore it while riding all over the world.
It toured Tasmania, regularly accompanied me around Victoria as well as going to the USA and South Africa...and it never let me down.
I look forward to this new one (with all it's amazing improvements and new features) accompanying me to various parts of the world on whatever riding adventures lay ahead.
Great products are good to find, but when they are paired with outstanding customer service that goes many extra miles, they earn customers for life.
