Maintaining the classic look of a casual hoodie, the Vanguard is perfect for both on and off the bike. Don’t let its relaxed appearance fool you—this hoodie is engineered for CE ‘AA’ levels of abrasion resistance, ensuring robust protection in the event of a slide. Tested to EN 17092-1:2020 standards, it achieves an impressive minimum slide distance of 31 meters at 75 km/h.

For enhanced protection, the Vanguard Hoodie is compatible with our CE Level 2 'Zeus Pro Armour' for the shoulders, elbows, and back. This additional armour is sold separately, allowing you to tailor your protection to your riding needs.

Great fit. Size Large, for 90kg 176 cm. This is my second hoodie from Akin. Worth the price and cost to ship to Canada.

Couldn’t be happier!

Absolutely love this hoodie! It fits perfectly, is warm and cosy, easy to throw on, and looks great whether I’m riding or just wearing it casually. The additional armour is so comfortable that you hardly even notice it’s there, which was a pleasant surprise. The delivery was super fast too, so from start to finish it’s been an awesome purchase.Would definitely recommend!

Love it

I love this thing. It's loose enough to feel and look casual, but still feels secure. It's a solid, thick hoodie and feels quite thick, but it isn't cumbersome, even with armour fitted. It looks low key, but the finish and design has a fair bit of depth to it. Recommended.
